The standard CrossFit “constantly varied” methodology is great for getting you good at everything. However, it’s tough to become great at anything without direct, focused practice. Maybe you’re having trouble learning proper snatch technique. Maybe you’ve noticed your progress has come to a screeching halt. Maybe you just like throwing heavy weight over your head. Whatever the case may be, chances are you will benefit from our weightlifting program.
Our weightlifting program will progress in predictable linear cycles. This means that they start with the basics and/or a prep phase and build to a heavy “peak.” This ensures the correct amount of stimulus is applied at the appropriate time, keeping you progressing safely. Our weightlifting programs will run 8 weeks, and are written by our USAW Level-1 certified and CrossFit Olympic Lifting certified Coach, Kory Ryan.
Anyone who wants to improve in their weightlifting. No experience is necessary and no requisite strength level is required. We will have beginner, intermediate and advanced programs running concurrently and our Coaches will make sure lifters are placed appropriately. All we require is a positive attitude and a desire to get stronger.
Weightlifting classes will be held at 6:00am every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Our 6 week program will run every few months. Please contact us to find out how to enroll.
Sign-ups will be announced a few weeks before the start of each program. There will be an additional fee that will be determined based on the length of the program.
